The clinical practice of orthopedic regenerative medicine focuses on the body’s natural ability to repair, replace, and regenerate its damaged or aging tissues. When orthopedic regenerative medicine treatments are performed, the patient’s response to the injected biologic agents initiates a cascade of events leading to tissue repair and self healing. Through self healing, the body is able to resolve pain, inflammation, and degeneration, while restoring functionality.

Biologic agents used at HOGUE CLINICS for orthopedic regenerative medicine treatments include: (1) autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP); (2) autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue (MFAT) with the Lipopps™ Procedure; and (3) allogeneic cell-free placental MSC-derived Exosomes (KIMERA LABS XoGlo™ MSC Exosomes).

Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine at HOGUE CLINICS

Regenerative medicine treatment offerings at HOGUE CLINICS are intended for patients with painful or degenerative musculoskeletal conditions such as knee osteoarthritis, shoulder arthritis, knee meniscus tear or degeneration, shoulder rotator cuff tendinitis, partially torn tendons or ligaments, and more. At HOGUE CLINICS, musculoskeletal injections are performed using image guidance such as fluoroscopy (live x-ray) and/or ultrasonography to ensure safer, precision injection of biologic agents into the targeted areas.

At HOGUE CLINICS, we routinely treat patients in their 40s and 50s afflicted with osteoarthritis of their knee and shoulder joints. Since a surgical joint replacement only lasts on average about 20 years, patients will likely face additional joint replacement surgeries during their lifetime. Regenerative medicine treatments using MFAT, PRP, or MSC exosomes may delay or eliminate altogether the need for joint replacement surgery, depending on the extent and severity of the underlying musculoskeletal condition and the patient’s regenerative capabilities.
